ICF Brick Ledge in ICF Wall Panel

      April 7, 2019

AEC Wall Systems recently pre installed rebar in ICF wall panels for a commercial job near North Liberty IA. The walls were installed 13' below grade and were 12' tall. At the top of  the Insulated Concrete Form wall panel was a built in brick ledge developed by Fox Blocks.

Panelizing the ICF walls saved an enormous amount of labor on this job because it was 13' deep into the ground and the terrain was very steep and muddy. Once the ICF installers are completed and the excavation is done , the masonry can begin with out stacking a single CMU block .

By using the AEC Panelized ICF Wall System it is estimated that the job schedule will be reduced by over 1 1/2 weeks, which is a big deal considering the winter has been extreme and caused delays .
